Cau Cat pier can discharge water, the last flooded residential areas in Hai Duong city urgently clean up the environment

On September 17, Cau Cat Port (Hai Duong City) opened its gates to drain water from the Sat River to the Thai Binh River; water in the last partially flooded areas in Le Thanh Nghi, Tan Binh, Hai Tan wards... began to recede. People urgently cleaned their houses and the environment.

Residential areas have launched a general environmental cleaning campaign with the motto "clean up wherever the water recedes". Cau Cat Lock was opened on the second day after the water level in the Bac Hung Hai system and Thai Binh River rose due to heavy rain and floods. It is expected that by 3:00 p.m. on September 17, when the water level of Thai Binh River rises, Cau Cat Lock will be closed to prevent water from flowing back into Sat River.
