Rescue 4 people trapped in apartment fire in Hanoi

On the night of August 30, an apartment fire broke out at CT5A apartment building (Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district, Hanoi). Authorities quickly arrived to put out the fire and rescue four trapped victims.

At around 11:45 p.m. on August 30, a fire suddenly broke out at CT5A apartment building (Tan Trieu, Thanh Tri, Hanoi). Witnesses at the scene said that at that time, they discovered smoke coming from the window of apartment 206 on the second floor of the building.

Immediately after discovering the fire, the fire fighting force at the facility quickly deployed to put out the fire, alerted all residents to run down to the first floor and cleared away parked cars that were obstructing the fire fighting work.

Upon receiving the information, the Command Information Center (Hanoi City Police) dispatched 6 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers from the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team of Thanh Tri District Police and Ha Dong District Police to the scene to put out the fire.

Police approached the fire scene from many directions. At the same time, they deployed search and evacuation instructions for 4 victims still trapped by smoke.

By 0:10 on August 31, the fire was completely extinguished, without spreading. The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force brought 4 victims trapped on the 2nd floor down to the 1st floor safely.

The cause of the incident is still being investigated.
