Prime Minister assigns additional tasks to Deputy Prime Ministers
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 814/QD-TTg dated August 8, 2024 assigning Deputy Prime Ministers to handle a number of tasks.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh additionally assigned Deputy Prime Ministers to handle a number of tasks as follows:
1- Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha
a) Continue to monitor and direct the fields of work, ministries, agencies and tasks as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 1 of Decision No. 506/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2024 of the Prime Minister.
b) Monitor and direct the following areas of work: banking; trade - import and export; petroleum reserves and supply; logistics services.
c) Monitor and direct the State Bank of Vietnam.
2- Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang
a) Continue to monitor and direct the fields of work, ministries, agencies and tasks as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 1 of Decision No. 506/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2024 of the Prime Minister.
b) Monitor and direct the investment planning sector.
c) Monitor and direct the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
3- Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long
a) Continue to monitor and direct the fields of work, ministries, agencies and tasks as prescribed in Clause 4, Article 1 of Decision No. 506/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2024 of the Prime Minister.
b) Monitor and direct work areas:
- Finance; general mechanisms and policies on public asset management (handling work related to public asset management in specialized fields directed by Deputy Prime Ministers in charge of the field); salary and social insurance policies.
- Inspection, settlement of complaints and denunciations, prevention and fight against corruption.
- Collective economy, cooperatives. Arrangement and innovation of state-owned enterprises. Development of various types of enterprises.
c) Monitor and direct ministries and agencies: Ministry of Finance, Government Office, Government Inspectorate, State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises, Vietnam Social Security.
This Decision comes into force from August 8, 2024.
