The first rare Honda Monkey Star Wars in Vietnam
Two Monkeys with designs inspired by the Star Wars series were imported to Vietnam as unofficial products, priced at no less than 100 million VND.
Following versions such as Cub Disney, Monkey Carnival, Dax Tamiya, a business in Ho Chi Minh City specializing in distributing "unique" car models has just brought to Vietnam the Honda Monkey Star Wars model. The car is imported from Thailand.
Honda Monkey Star Wars is limited to 300 units. The Dark Side and Light Side versions of this model have two different colors, with 150 units respectively.
In Vietnam, two Monkey Star Wars models of the Light Side and Dark Side versions were imported with the same serial number 088 out of a total of 155 produced.
Monkey Star Wars is a special edition created by Honda's Cub House branch in Thailand. The design of the vehicle is inspired by the Star Wars movie universe of Hollywood cinema. The vehicle is developed based on the regular Monkey version.
The Light Side wheel rims are blue, the other is red. On the fuel tank in front of the seat, there is a sticker marking the production number. The Star Wars logo is embossed on the side of the fuel tank. The handlebar grips are blue on the Light Side and red on the Dark Side.
Honda Monkey Star Wars engine is SOHC type, 125cc capacity, 9.2 horsepower, 11 Nm torque. 5-speed gearbox.
In Thailand, the Monkey Star Wars is priced from 4,800 USD, or about 120 million VND at the current exchange rate. The importer has not announced the price of this model in Vietnam. The car comes with accessories such as a keychain with the car's factory number, a leather jacket, and items simulating the lightsaber in the Star Wars movie.
Like other limited edition special models, the Honda Monkey Star Wars in Vietnam is mainly for customers with strong finances who like to collect unique and strange versions.
