64 Hai Duong athletes compete at the National Phu Dong Sports Festival
Hai Duong has 64 athletes participating in the 2024 National Phu Dong Sports Festival taking place in Hai Phong City from July 25 to August 6.

Hai Duong delegation has 64 athletes and 14 officials and coaches competing in 6 events, including: athletics (20 athletes), chess (16 athletes), table tennis (8 athletes), karate (7 athletes), vovinam (7 athletes), badminton (6 athletes).
Of the 15 subjects, 10 subjects competed regionally (primary and secondary school), the final was only for high school, including: swimming, table tennis, badminton, shuttlecock, athletics, volleyball, pole pushing, tug of war, basketball, gymnastics (pole pushing was only a regional competition). The 10th National Phu Dong Sports Festival was held in Hai Phong City from July 25 to August 6 with more than 10,000 athletes, coaches, and caregivers from 63 provinces and cities participating, competing for 217 sets of medals in 15 sports.
Previously, the Hai Duong athlete delegation won 6 gold medals in the 10th National Phu Dong Sports Festival 2024, Region II in Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen.
Since the 9th National Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2016, this year, the National Phu Dong Sports Festival has been held again after 2 temporary suspensions due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
