Funding support for repairing martyrs' cemeteries for 9 communes
The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just approved a plan to allocate central budget funds to support the repair of martyrs' graves and cemeteries in 2024 for 9 communes in the province.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee will allocate nearly 10.5 billion VND to repair 9 martyr cemeteries in 9 communes, including: Ninh Thanh in Tan Huong commune (Ninh Giang); Cam Che (Thanh Ha); Dai Duc, Lien Hoa (Kim Thanh); Tien Tien (Hai Duong city); Nam Chinh (Nam Sach); Van To (Tu Ky); Hong Phong, Ngu Hung (Thanh Mien).
Ninh Thanh Martyrs Cemetery (in Tan Huong commune) received the most support, nearly 2.3 billion VND; Tien Tien commune 1.9 billion VND; Hong Phong and Ngu Hung communes, each more than 1.4 billion VND...
These cemeteries were built a long time ago, many items such as martyrs' memorials, martyrs' name steles, graves, caretaker's houses, surrounding walls, yards... have degraded and are not aesthetically pleasing.
