Construction of 7 new bridges on the East-West axis of Kim Thanh district
Phase II of the East-West axis road project in Kim Thanh district (Hai Duong) is expected to start construction in June 2024 and be completed by the end of 2025. There are 7 new bridges along the route.

The East-West axis road project in Kim Thanh district has a total length of 15.74 km, contributing to connecting many industrial parks and industrial clusters in the region. The project includes the construction of the East-West axis road and a branch connecting to the National Highway 5 overpass intersection passing through the communes of Co Dung, Tuan Viet, Kim Xuyen, Ngu Phuc, Kim Anh, Kim Tan, Dong Cam and Tam Ky (Kim Thanh). In which, the East-West axis road is 14.47 km long, starting at Co Dung commune and ending at Tam Ky commune.
The entire project will build 7 new bridges including: Kim Xuyen, Kim Xuyen I and II bridges, all 75 m long; Phu Thai I and II bridges, both 75 m long; Kim Tan bridge, 113 m long; Cam La bridge, 43 m long. In addition, the route also has two intersections: Ngu Phuc five-way intersection and Tam Ky three-way intersection.

The total initial project investment was over VND 1,497 billion, after adjustment on June 12, 2023 it decreased to VND 803 billion.

Phase I of the project has a total investment of over 232 billion VND, building nearly 4 km of new road from the National Highway 5 interchange in Kim Xuyen commune to Ngu Phuc roundabout, with a road surface of 12 m wide. Phase I of the project started construction at the end of July 2022. Construction units are completing the final items so that the project can finish on schedule, expected to open this June.
