Investing nearly 737 billion VND to build 3 new blocks for Hai Duong General Hospital
Hai Duong Provincial People's Council has issued a Resolution on deciding on the investment policy for the Project to build 3 new blocks for Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital with a total estimated cost of 736.8 billion VND.
Specifically, the 3 blocks that Hai Duong General Hospital will invest in building new include: the medical examination, administrative, technical and inpatient block, expected scale of 8 floors, total expected floor area of 17,636 m2; the technical, paraclinical and inpatient block, expected scale of 7 floors, total expected floor area of 10,023 m2; the emergency, technical and paraclinical block, expected scale of 7 floors, total expected floor area of 12,808 m2.
At the Provincial General Hospital, necessary items will be demolished to rebuild the above works; at the same time, new construction and renovation of outdoor items will be carried out to ensure the operation of newly built buildings and already built buildings such as internal roads, landscape architecture, electrical systems, water supply and drainage, fire prevention and fighting, low voltage electricity, medical gas, etc.
The project belongs to Group B, the investor is the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board. The total estimated investment cost of the project is 736.8 billion VND from the provincial budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025. The project implementation location is within the premises of the Provincial General Hospital during the period 2024-2026.
Hai Duong General Hospital has 51 centers, departments, rooms, and divisions; about 1,060 staff; 900 beds, 1,196 beds. Currently, many items and works of the hospital have been used for many years and are degraded. The investment in the above project helps the largest hospital in Hai Duong province ensure facilities to serve the examination and treatment of people, reduce the rate of referrals, and reduce the burden on patients.
