On April 6, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Duong Province Police said it was temporarily detaining 12 suspects who chased each other, killing 2 people in Di An City.

The suspects are being investigated for "murder" and "disturbing public order".

Just because of a small conflict, the above mentioned teenagers aggressively used weapons to chase each other, leading to an accident that killed 2 people, including a passerby.

According to initial investigation, Truong Tan Loc's group (19 years old, from An Giang) had an argument with Tran Chinh Minh (identity unknown), so the two made an appointment to meet to "talk and resolve the conflict".

On the evening of April 2, Loc invited a "group of social friends" to bring weapons and ride on 8 motorbikes to search for Minh's group.

When arriving at the gate of Di An City Medical Center, Loc's group met Bui Anh Kiet, 16 years old, from An Giang and Tran Cong Nhat, 16 years old, from Thua Thien Hue.

Loc's group thought that Kiet, Nhat and Minh's group (who had a conflict with Loc) were holding weapons and chasing them.

During the chase and escape, Kiet and Nhat's motorbike collided with a motorbike carrying two women and a child.

The accident killed Kiet and a woman. Nhat and the other woman and the baby were injured.

Seeing the other party had an accident, Loc's group still did not give up but rushed in to beat and slash Nhat (who was sitting up after the accident) and then fled the scene.

Di An City Police and professional units of Binh Duong Province Police coordinated to arrest the suspects, seizing many exhibits including 3 homemade knives and 8 motorbikes.

At the police station, the suspects admitted to their crimes. The case is still under investigation.
