Impression

Coming to Bao Viet Life Hai Duong Company's office at the end of the year, many customers were delighted to see a Tet miniature scene set up with decorations of Chung cakes, ham trees, peach branches, firecrackers... dotted with rose vases, pomegranate vases, old wooden dining tables, fish traps, copper trays... This impressive Tet decoration design style has quickly become an attractive check-in spot for many customers and company employees.

Mr. Vu Thanh Do, Deputy Director in charge of Bao Viet Nhan Tho Hai Duong Company, said that in order to create a Tet atmosphere for the leadership team and employees, as well as create a good impression for customers when they come to work and do business, this year's Tet holiday, the company has designed a Tet check-in point right in the office lobby. The design was conceived by the company and implemented in coordination with a design consultant. The items are bamboo blinds, fans... "It also took a lot of time to design and decorate from the smallest steps such as cutting apricot flowers, pinning, gluing to hanging lights, fans, firecrackers... but everyone was very happy and excited," Mr. Do shared.

For the past 2 weeks, the Tet check-in point at An Thanh Kindergarten (Tu Ky) has also been a place that attracts many parents and children to take souvenir photos. A Tet miniature scene designed and set up by the school's teachers is imbued with traditional colors with Chung cakes, lanterns, pots of yellow chrysanthemums, peach trees, baskets of eggs...

Teacher Nguyen Thi Xuan, Principal of An Thanh Kindergarten, shared that with the desire to help children experience an old Tet space right at the school they are studying, the staff and teachers of the school have designed a check-in point imbued with the colors of Northern Tet with typical flowers and fruits. In addition to the items that are available on the market such as bamboo blinds, parallel sentences, bamboo fans, banh chung, bamboo trays, shoulder poles, peacock blankets... many products are prepared by the teachers themselves from the smallest steps such as folding apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, paper lanterns, and preparing dry tree stumps to create a large peach branch... After coming up with ideas for design, display, and completion of the items, the teachers assemble and decorate them themselves.

"The Tet check-in point in the school not only creates a highlight for the school, but we also hope that through this, it will teach children about the customs and practices of the traditional Tet holiday," said Ms. Xuan.

Not only in offices and schools, many individuals also buy materials to design their own Tet check-in spots at home. Ms. Tran Thi Le Chinh in Zone 7, Cam Thuong Ward (Hai Duong City) said that for the past 2 years, every holiday and Tet such as Christmas and Lunar New Year, she has personally bought materials to design a check-in spot at home. This year, she chose products that recreate ancient Vietnam to decorate small landscapes in her house, both to create a highlight for the house and to be a place for the whole family to gather together in the warm days at the end of the year. Ms. Chinh also said that to prepare for a Tet check-in spot at home, in addition to having to come up with design ideas and buy materials, the decoration also takes a lot of time. With the Tet check-in scene at home, Ms. Chinh took about 2 days to complete, costing nearly 5 million VND.

The trend of designing and decorating Tet check-in points at offices, schools, and homes has been quite developed in the past 2 years. Many businesses, agencies, and units have invested in designing Tet check-in points at reception areas, office lobbies, school yards, etc. to create an impression and attract customers.

The unique point of these spaces is that they are decorated in a variety of ways, differently and also carry the cultural style of each unit. Some places arrange yellow apricot trees, peach trees, and golden dragons, while others arrange them like stalls in villages during Tet; some create highlights with familiar objects of the old Northern countryside such as a pair of shoulder poles, peach blossoms, chrysanthemums, and dahlias; bamboo trays displaying areca and betel leaves or bamboo tables covered with peacock and phoenix blankets... However, all have in common the bright colors, in which the main colors are red and yellow... typical of Tet.

Mr. Le Ba Hoang in Tue Tinh apartment building, Cam Thuong ward (Hai Duong city) said that when he picked up his child at Binh Minh Primary School, he was very impressed with the Tet check-in spot there. The traditional Tet colors were recreated in the miniature scene, which made him and his children very excited.

When coming to transact at the Hai Duong Branch of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade, Ms. Doan Thi Hue on Nguyen Trai Street (Hai Duong City) was also impressed with the Tet check-in point that this bank placed right in the transaction lobby. “I was very impressed with the bank's Tet check-in point. In the middle of the office space, there were brilliant spring colors with blooming peach blossoms, blooming yellow apricot blossoms, bright red lanterns and funny mascots, making me feel the Tet atmosphere was very bustling and I had to take a few photos as souvenirs here,” Ms. Hue said.

The trend of designing check-in points during Tet in many units, businesses, and families has contributed to making Tet more colorful. These check-in points not only create a cultural beauty but also bring people a spiritual dish through interesting Tet check-in photos.
