According to the newspaperAS, the incident happened last week in Cuautla City, Morelos State (Mexico).
At 11am, Sergio Jauregui was playing a friendly match when a stranger suddenly entered the field and shot him 6 times. The perpetrator then quickly left the scene.
An ambulance was immediately dispatched but it was too late to save Sergio Jauregui's life. Police were also present to open an investigation into the daring attack.
