94 years under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese people have overcome countless difficulties and challenges, and have been making remarkable progress with new strength and an unprecedented glorious position in history to realize the aspiration of a powerful Vietnam.
From January 6 to February 7, 1930, the conference to unify communist organizations to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam was held in Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong (China) under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Ai Quoc on behalf of the Communist International.President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi.The 2nd National Party Congress was held in the Viet Bac Resistance Zone (February 1951).On May 7, 1954, the historic Dien Bien Phu campaign was completely victorious, marking the end of the glorious resistance war against the French, full of sacrifice and hardship that lasted for 9 years.On January 27, 1973, in Paris (France), Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam Nguyen Thi Binh signed the Paris Agreement on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam.Liberation Army tanks occupy the Independence Palace, noon April 30, 1975, marking the end of the resistance war against the US, saving the country, completely liberating the South, and reunifying the country.The 13th National Party Congress - unifying "Party's will and people's heart", bringing the country into a new stage of development (Hanoi, January 25 - February 1, 2021)The State visit to Vietnam by US President Joseph R. Up to now, Vietnamese rice has been present in more than 150 countries and territories.Preferential loan programs contribute significantly to poverty reduction, new rural construction, job creation, and ensuring social security in localities.
