300 poor blind members received Tet gifts
Tzu Chi Organization has just donated 300 Tet gifts to blind people in difficult circumstances in Hai Duong.
The Provincial People's Committee has just approved the project of giving Tet gifts in 2024 to 300 families who are members of the Blind Association in districts, towns and cities with difficult circumstances, provided by the Tzu Chi Organization (Taiwan) in the form of non-refundable aid; implementation time is in January.
Specifically, 228 families with 1-2 members were supported with 1.1 million VND/family; 71 families with 3-5 members were supported with 1.4 million VND/family and 1 household with 6 members received 1.6 million VND. Each gift includes 1 gift worth 500,000 VND.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Association of the Blind to preside over and coordinate the reception and management of the above aid project to ensure regulations.
This is the first non-governmental project Hai Duong has received this year. Through this aid, poor blind members can celebrate Tet more fully.
