Arrested many subjects in the transnational fake document ring
The Criminal Police Department simultaneously deployed 10 working groups in many provinces and cities across the country; summoned and arrested 23 subjects; and urgently searched 4 establishments producing fake documents.
On November 9, the leader of Ha Tinh Provincial Police said that the Criminal Police Force (Provincial Police) had just initiated a case, prosecuting 23 defendants for the crime of forging and using seals and documents of agencies and organizations in many provinces and cities across the country in a fake document production ring with sophisticated tricks, operating for a long time in cyberspace.
After a period of investigation from a car purchase and sale transaction in Ha Tinh province with signs of fake documents, the police force established a special project to fight and a transnational fake document ring was revealed.

The police force prosecuted 23 defendants, including one defendant who played a role in running the advertisement; two defendants who played a role in providing printers and blanks.gfake documents; 8 defendants had a direct role in production; 11 defendants had a role in production brokerage; one defendant used fake documents and papers of an agency or organization.
Previously, from the beginning of 2023, through research through social relationships and on the Internet, Le Minh Luan (born in 1985, residing in Phu Thuan Ward, District 7), Dinh Tien Dung (born in 1986, residing in SaiGonLand Apartment, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District) and Pham Nhut Truong (born in 1999, residing in TopazHome 2 Apartment, Tan Phu Ward, Thu Duc City) all in Ho Chi Minh City, learned how to forge documents and papers of agencies and organizations, so they purchased and prepared tools and means such as: phone sim cards not in their name; bank accounts not in their name; laptops; color printers; plastic laminators; Hiti plastic card printers; card cutting and stamping tools; fake seals; blank driver's licenses, citizen identification cards, vehicle registration papers... and then lured other subjects to participate.
During the investigation, the Investigation Agency seized 23 cars, 40 mobile phones, 10 computers, 10 printers of various types, three plastic card printers, three plastic heat presses, three stamp machines, one photocopier, 239 million VND and hundreds of fake seals, blanks, driver's licenses, citizen identification cards, fake vehicle registration papers... and many other materials used to fake documents.../.
