Jailed for stealing a Chinese juniper tree

On the morning of July 13, Gia Loc District People's Court sentenced Ho Van Hung (born in 1987, in Bai Thuong village, Toan Thang commune, Gia Loc district) to 10 months in prison for "theft of property".

At around 1:00 a.m. on March 4, 2023, taking advantage of the darkness and the sleeping people, Hung stole from the family of Mr. Doan Van Hien (born in 1947, in the same village) 2 La Han pine trees worth 8.3 million VND.
