Measles-rubella vaccination for children at Service Vaccination Room No. 1 Hai Duong
On average, the vaccination rate for this vaccine reaches at least 95% every year. The reason for the low vaccination rate is that the Covid-19 pandemic is complicated, so the province has stopped the expanded vaccination program for some months and some parents are reluctant to let their children get vaccinated.
To control the measles-rubella epidemic and create community immunity, Hai Duong CDC recommends that localities review children aged 1-5 who have not been vaccinated to carry out this vaccination in February 2022. Give 1 additional dose of vaccine to children in this age group regardless of previous history of measles or rubella vaccination. Do not give vaccination to children who have just been vaccinated against measles-rubella within 1 month before the additional vaccination.
