In Ottawa, matches in Canada will be held in Vancouver and Toronto. In addition to the two Canadian cities, US cities Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Kansas City, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, New York/New Jersey, and Mexican cities Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara will also host matches in the 2026 World Cup. This will be the first World Cup to expand the number of participating teams from 32 to 48.

Vancouver's BC Place hosted nine games at the 2015 Women's World Cup, including the final that drew more than 50,000 fans, while Toronto hosted the Pan American Games in 2019. Both BC Place and Toronto's BMO Field are slated for renovations ahead of the 2026 World Cup, with Toronto expanding its capacity to 40,000.
