According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thanh Mien district, this year's winter-spring crop, rice acreage in concentrated production areas yielded 10% higher yields than traditional rice growing areas.

Concentrated rice production area in Thanh Mien district has a yield 10% higher than traditional rice cultivation.

This winter-spring crop, Thanh Mien district has 27 concentrated rice production areas with an area of 5 hectares or more. The areas mainly produce rice varieties such as Huong Bien 3, Bac Thom resistant to silver leaf, BC15, LT2, Q5... The yield is from 63-67 quintals/ha, about 6 quintals/ha higher than traditional rice growing areas and 3-4 quintals/ha higher than last year.

Concentrated production areas have helped farmers change their practices from small-scale production to concentrated models, applying technical advances and mechanization in production stages, bringing high economic efficiency.
