Thanh Ha town expansion planning increases by more than 11 hectares

On July 13, the Provincial People's Committee approved the master plan to expand Thanh Ha town to 2035.

Accordingly, the planning research boundary covers the entire natural area of the town and extends to part of the area of the communes: Cam Che, Tan An, Thanh Khe, Thanh Xa. The general planning expansion of Thanh Ha town borders Cam Che, Tan Viet communes to the north, Thanh Khe commune to the south, Thanh Xa commune to the east, Thanh Khe and Tan An communes to the west. The total planning research area is 728.39 hectares, an increase of 11.08 hectares compared to the approved planning research area. The urban population size of Thanh Ha town is forecasted to expand to nearly 13,000 people by 2030, and to more than 18,000 people by 2035.

According to the approved planning task, Thanh Ha town is built as a district-level comprehensive center of economy, finance, culture, education, training, health, science and technology; the district-level administrative center has the role of promoting the socio-economic development of the province, district and region. After 2030, Thanh Ha town is a type IV urban area in the urban system of the province.
