On the evening of January 24 (the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a competition and performance of traditional martial arts and lion and dragon dances at Independence Square (Hai Duong City).

The tournament attracted 5 traditional martial arts clubs and 5 lion and dragon dance troupes with nearly 100 martial artists in the province. The martial artists performed 15 lion and dragon dances and 20 unique and spectacular martial arts performances such as opening spring, double lion dance to bless, three lion dances, eight lion dances to prosper, Huyen Quang staff, Kim Long double swords, Trung Son big sword, Hai Duong fist, double swords...

Accompanied by the sound of drums and gongs, the martial artists brought the audience skillful and eye-catching martial arts and lion dance performances. The performances symbolized luck, fortune, prosperity and happiness. A large number of people came to watch and cheer.
