Discovered more than 3 km of beautiful, pristine caves in Quang Binh

An expedition team from the British Cave Research Association (BCRA) recently surveyed the limestone mountains in Lam Hoa commune (Quang Binh) and discovered a pristine cave system over 3.3 km long.

Specifically, through the initial survey, the BCRA expedition team measured and mapped 5 pristine caves including: Hung Tru 1 cave, 1,919 m long, 11 m deep; Hung Tru 2 cave, 502 m long, 25.8 m deep; Hung Tru 3 cave, 153 m long, 11.4 m deep; Hung Ka Vong 1 cave, 238 m long, 2.8 m deep; Hung Ka Vong 2 cave, 537 m long, 5 m deep.

All caves are wet, some have dry branches with a total length of 3,349 m.

In addition, experts also discovered a cave with a relatively large underground stream but could not fully survey it due to lack of preparation of support equipment.
