Leaders of the Vietnam Oriental Medicine Association and leaders of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the new Executive Committee of the Provincial Oriental Medicine Association.

In the new term, the Provincial Association of Traditional Medicine strives to establish 3-5 grassroots associations, developing at least 130 members. Promote charitable medical examination and treatment. Develop a plan to develop medicinal resources, organize the replication of models of raising, growing, and preserving medicinal resources. Organize at least 20 training courses to disseminate knowledge and expertise. Continue to coordinate with schools to train traditional medicine physicians.

The provincial Oriental Medicine Association currently has more than 1,600 members. During the 2017-2023 term, each year the association at all levels organizes medical examinations, consultations, and treatment for about 500,000 patients. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people use traditional medicine. Many units do a good job of preserving medicinal resources. The Oriental Medicine Association at all levels has organized 15 training courses on planting and caring for medicinal herbs for more than 200 people; coordinated with the Hai Duong Central College of Pharmacy to train 80 students in acupuncture and acupressure massage. During the term, the association at all levels has provided free medical examinations and medicine worth more than 7 billion VND.

At the Congress, the Vietnam Association of Oriental Medicine awarded the excellent emulation flag to the Provincial Association of Oriental Medicine for the 2017-2023 term; awarded the title of outstanding oriental medicine practitioner to 2 members, and awarded the "For the cause of oriental medicine" medal to 23 members. The Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Hai Duong Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations awarded many certificates of merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in scientific research related to the field of oriental medicine.

The congress elected 33 people to the new Executive Committee.
