Perfecting the salary increase regime for cadres, civil servants and public employees
According to the Government Electronic Information Portal, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long assigned the Ministry of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to study and submit to competent authorities to amend and supplement regulations related to salary increase regime and extend salary increase period for cadres, civil servants and public employees accordingly.

Civil servants holding the title of senior expert currently have the highest salary, equivalent to the salary of a minister, expected to increase from 18 million to 23.4 million VND/month (an increase of 5.4 million VND) from July 1, 2024.
