The Ministry of Home Affairs has just submitted a document to the Government on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units.
Many famous tourist destinations are suggested to keep their names when arranging
Da Lat, Nha Trang, Vung Tau and Phu Quoc - famous tourist destinations, are all proposed to keep their names in the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units.
Expected to reduce 50% of provincial administrative units after rearrangement

Nghe An Province Department of Home Affairs proposed that Tuong Duong District People's Committee develop a plan to reduce the number of commune-level administrative units to 6-7 after rearrangement.
Roadmap for merging provincial administrative units nationwide
The project to merge provincial-level administrative units and abolish the district level to streamline the apparatus and improve management efficiency will be submitted to the Central Government before April 1 and approved by the National Assembly before June 30.
