The Ministry of Finance has raised the proposed level for individuals and business owners who owe overdue taxes of 120 days with a level of 50 million VND or more to have their exit temporarily suspended.
VCCI: The level of individuals with tax debts of 10 million VND or more being banned from leaving the country is too low.

VCCI proposed that individuals with tax debts of 200 million VND or more and business representatives with tax debts of 1 billion VND or more will be banned from leaving the country, instead of the level of 10 - 100 million as expected by the Ministry of Finance.
