Typhoon Gaemi affects more than 620,000 people in Fujian province (China)

As of 6 a.m. on July 26 (local time), Typhoon Gaemi, the third typhoon this year, had affected 628,600 people in the province, officials in Fujian province in eastern China said.

China raises emergency response level for Typhoon Gaemi

On July 25, China's Ministry of Transport raised the emergency response level for Typhoon Gaemi to level 2, the second highest level, after the storm swept through Taiwan, causing loss of life and property before continuing to move deeper into Fujian province.
China issues orange alert for Typhoon Gaemi

On July 24, China's National Meteorological Center (NMC) issued an orange alert for Tropical Storm Gaemi, which is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rain to parts of southern China.
