The Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee requires all levels and sectors to diversify forms of propaganda and education, raise awareness, identify responsibilities and actions of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members and people in ensuring food security and safety; promote the role and responsibility of organizations, enterprises and individuals in enforcing food safety laws; promptly inform about safe, high-quality food supply chains, establishments that violate and pose potential risks of food security and safety. Strengthen inspection, examination and supervision of food security and safety work, resolutely combat, prevent and strictly handle organizations, individuals, production and business establishments that violate regulations...

The Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee established three interdisciplinary teams to inspect the activities of the Food Safety Steering Committees at district and commune levels and conduct on-site inspections at food production and trading establishments.

The Food Safety Steering Committees of districts, towns and cities develop action plans for food safety month in accordance with local requirements and actual situations; organize inspection teams according to plan, and strictly handle violations in food production and trading.

This year's Food Safety Action Month lasts from April 18 to May 15.
